These terms govern your use of the Auditforge Atlassian Forge app (the "Service"), operated by Sathvic Kollu (the "Operator"), an individual based in Bangalore, India.
By installing or using the Service, you ("Customer") agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install the Service.
1. The Service
Auditforge is an Atlassian Forge app that generates audit-narrative drafts from Jira ticket content using AI. The Service runs inside the Customer's Atlassian Cloud tenancy. The Operator does not host or operate any external infrastructure as part of the Service.
2. Customer responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:
- Holding a valid Atlassian Cloud subscription
- Holding a valid Anthropic API account with sufficient credit, and providing a valid API key
- The accuracy and lawfulness of the content the Customer chooses to send to the AI (Jira tickets, control descriptions)
- Reviewing every AI-generated narrative before relying on it for an audit or regulatory submission
- Ensuring users with access to the app are authorized to view the underlying Jira data
The Customer must not use the Service to process content the Customer has no right to share with Anthropic.
3. AI output disclaimer
AI-generated narratives are drafts. They may contain factual errors, omissions, or unsupported claims. The Customer must have a qualified compliance professional review and approve every narrative before submitting it to an auditor or regulator. The Operator makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for a specific purpose.
4. Acceptable use
The Customer must not:
- Use the Service to attempt to extract data from other Atlassian tenancies
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Resell the Service or its output as a standalone product
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Service
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on the Atlassian Marketplace listing. All software billing is handled by Atlassian. The Operator does not collect payment information directly. Refund and proration policies follow Atlassian Marketplace defaults.
The Customer pays Anthropic directly for AI usage via the API key the Customer configures. The Operator does not bill for AI usage.
A 14-day free trial is offered on all paid tiers. Cancellation can be done from the Customer's Atlassian Marketplace subscription panel at any time.
6. Service availability
The Service runs on Atlassian's Forge platform. Availability is dependent on:
- Atlassian Cloud availability (Atlassian SLA applies)
- Anthropic API availability (Anthropic SLA applies)
The Operator targets best-effort response within one business day for support requests from paid customers. The Operator does not commit to a specific uptime SLA at this stage of the product.
7. Updates and changes
The Operator will publish updates via the Marketplace. Material changes that affect data handling will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. The Operator may discontinue the Service with at least 90 days written notice to active subscribers.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
- The Operator's total cumulative liability under these terms is limited to the amount the Customer paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is lower
- The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- The Operator is not liable for the content or accuracy of AI-generated narratives, or for decisions made on the basis of those narratives
These limitations apply even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify the Operator against any third-party claims arising from:
- The Customer's misuse of the Service
- Content the Customer submits to the Service that infringes a third party's rights
- The Customer's failure to review AI output before relying on it
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time by uninstalling the app (Customer) or removing the listing from the Marketplace with the notice described in Section 7 (Operator). On termination:
- Customer access stops within 1 business day
- Customer data in Forge Storage is retained by Atlassian for 30 days then deleted per Atlassian's data lifecycle
- Refunds for paid annual subscriptions are processed by Atlassian per Marketplace policy
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
For Customers based in the EU, UK, or California, mandatory consumer protection rights under local law are not affected by this section.
12. Changes to these terms
The Operator may update these terms at any time. The current version will be posted here. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect.
